Cookie Policy
What cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences — in line with GDPR and UK GDPR consent rules.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as the contents of your cart or your language) over a period of time, and they help us understand how the Site is used. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage; in this policy we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies".
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies used on the Pambiotic website, operated by ARFA ES LTD, and how you can manage them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the Site to function — shopping cart, secure checkout, login session, and security. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
Functional
Remember your preferences such as language, currency and market, to give you a more personal experience. These do not require consent.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the Site (for example via Google Analytics) so we can improve performance and content. In the EU / UK these are only set with your consent.
Marketing
Used to measure advertising effectiveness and show you relevant ads on other platforms (for example Meta Pixel and Google Ads). In the EU / UK these are only set with your consent.
Merchant note: a GDPR consent app (e.g. Pandectes) can auto-generate the precise per-cookie table, including names, providers and durations. Insert that detailed list here before publishing.
3. Consent and your choices (GDPR / UK GDPR)
When you first visit the Site from the EU or UK, a cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential (analytics or marketing) cookies are set. You can accept all, reject all, or choose which categories to allow. Rejecting non-essential cookies is as easy as accepting them, and strictly necessary cookies remain active either way so the Site keeps working.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by reopening the cookie preferences from the banner or footer link on our website.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
In addition to our cookie banner, you can control cookies through your browser settings — blocking or deleting cookies, or being notified when one is set. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site (such as the cart or checkout) from working correctly.
- Most browsers let you manage cookies in their Settings or Preferences menu, under "Privacy" or "Security".
- To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, you can install Google's browser opt-out add-on.
- For interest-based advertising, you can use the controls at youronlinechoices.eu (EU) or aboutads.info (US).
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use, including Shopify (platform and checkout), Klaviyo (email engagement), Google (analytics and advertising) and Meta (advertising). These providers are responsible for their own cookies; please review their privacy and cookie notices for details. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards are in place as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was most recently revised.
